Lucas Johnson

Lucas (Lu) Johnson joined iCapital Network in January 2021 continuing his responsibility for developing AI Insight’s liquid alternative research capabilities, including new reports for advisors that enable them to compare the details and financial performance of alternative investment mutual funds.

Lu is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and was formerly a Due Diligence Analyst with National Planning Holdings, Inc., where he conducted due diligence reviews on a broad set of investments with a primary emphasis on liquid alternatives, non-traded REITs, non-traded BDCs and closed-end interval funds. Prior to that, Lu was an Investment Associate with Raymond James Financial Services, where he evaluated client portfolios, created investment proposals and conducted research and analysis on various securities.

Lu has a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and economics from Western Colorado University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Oregon State University. He currently resides in Colorado.
