Jennifer Simon and her daughter, Grace, traveled to Uganda in January 2020. This was her second trip back to Uganda to work with Beauty for Ashes Uganda and the community has made significant progress since her last visit thanks to advocates and donations.

Ernie Bergman, Senior Director of Advisor Relations at AI Insight, attended the State of the Union Address on Feb. 4, 2020. Ernie served in the U.S. Navy as a Quartermaster during the Vietnam War from 1966-1970 and served overseas from 1967-1970. He currently serves as President of the Marin County Chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America. He was invited to the U.S. Capitol by Congressman Jared Huffman to represent veterans in California’s 2nd congressional district.

Sherri Cooke and her son, Aidan, traveled to Ecuador to work with the WE Charity, which transforms lives with solutions that are adaptive, effective and sustained long term by the community itself.
