AI Insight is pleased to announce the addition of four Structured Products education modules consisting of Structured Certificates of Deposits, Principal Protected Structured Notes, Principal at Risk Structured Notes, and Structured Products Payout Structures Issuance Type. Each segment has been filed with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and will merit one continuing education credit (CE) upon completion.
Similar to Alternative Investments, Structured Products are subject to special scrutiny and specific guidance from FINRA. Since 2007, AI Insight has been at the forefront in developing standards and best practices that assist subscribing Broker Dealers with complex Advisor training and compliance reporting requirements. AI Insight’s new Structured Products education series has been designed to answer the training needs of Independent Broker Dealers looking to add these relatively new, non-traditional products to their stable of product options. In addition to generic Structured Products education modules for CE credits, AI Insight is working on expanding its online database to provide full-service, issuer-based education modules on Structured Products issuers. AI Insight’s expanded Structured Products service line will further help subscribing Broker Dealers comply with FINRA Notices To Members 12-03, 05-59, and 03-71.
